Born in 1966, Frédéric Voisin discovered in 1978 a Halitherium Schinz aged 60 million years, ancestor gods of the sea described by Homer, which will be exhibited at the Natural History Museum of Venice. Subsequently, he studied musicology at the Sorbonne, semiotics at EHESS, the Inuit Language Institute of Oriental Languages ... Adventurer of computer music, he developed in 1989, with Simha Arom CNRS, Central and Indonesia, the first experiments in ethnomusicology interactive audio synthesis.
