Born in 1966, Frédéric Voisin discovered in 1978 a Halitherium Schinz aged 60 million years, ancestor gods of the sea described by Homer, which will be exhibited at the Natural History Museum of Venice. Subsequently, he studied musicology at the Sorbonne, semiotics at EHESS, the Inuit Language Institute of Oriental Languages ... Adventurer of computer music, he developed in 1989, with Simha Arom CNRS, Central and Indonesia, the first experiments in ethnomusicology interactive audio synthesis. assistant musical director and computer music at IRCAM from 1995 to 2002 and artist independent researcher, collaborates with musical ideas from many groups, composers, choreographers and directors of international renown. at the crossroads of artistic and scientific research are regularly presented and implemented in courses, seminars, conferences , installations and concerts worldwide. Since 2007, Frédéric Voisin teaches computer music, especially at the Music Conservatory of Montbéliard and the University of Franche Comté.
